  1. Add oil to a pan and add cinnamon and cloves followed by onions and fry the onions till it's golden brown
  2. Add 2 spoons ginger garlic paste, salt, green chillies and all the masala powders and saute for 1 minute
  3. Add the tomatoes and cover and cook till oil oozes out and tomatoes are mashed
  4. Add the mushrooms and coat the mushrooms with the gravy and cover and cook for 5 minutes
  5. Now the mushroom would have left some water. Add some more water as per your consistency and cook for 5 minutes
  6. When the water is all absorbed add pepper powder and stir for 2 minutes and your mushrooms are good to go with a nice pair of roti, chapatis and phulkas
