Peel and finely slice the onions, roughly chop the tomatoes and deseed and finely slice the chilli. Put everything in a pan, season to taste and stir well to combine. - Slice onions, tomatoes. Take a pan and keep it on the stove. Once the pan heats add oil, once the oil heats add urad Dal, chenna Dal, add coriander seeds, jeera seeds, then mix it. Add garlic, onions, add salt, turmeric, mix it well in low flame
- Then add tomatoes, close the lid and open the lid, add chilli powder, mix it well.
- Once it cooked, let it cool for sometime. Grind it by adding some water. Again take the same pan add oil, add mustard and cumin seeds, red chilli, curry leaves then add the grinded chutney, pour water if required.
- Then transfer into a bowl and serve hot with Idli/doda/chapathi /upma and rice.
