Instructions to make Mie goreng:
- Blend shallots, garlic, peppers and oil into a paste
- Stir fry a table spoon of the paste with some oil in a hot wok
- Add the egg and scramble until just set then push to the side
- Add the protein and stir fry until just cooked
- Add the leafy greens and stir fry briefly
- Add the noodles and stir fry briefly
- Add kecap manis, season with salt, pepper and sugar to taste
